Candle Lighter Series

A few years ago, I came across an Instagram reel about being a "candlelighter," and the concept stuck with me. I knew one day I'd want to tell my daughter about it.

A candlelighter is someone who chooses to light others' candles instead of blowing them out to shine brighter themselves. There is room for all of us to shine

I've been incredibly blessed to have friendships from every stage of my life that retlect this. Of course, no friendship is perfect and we all make mistakes! BUT at the end of the day, we genuinely want the best for one another.

As the mom of a middle school girl, this idea means everything to me. I want my daughter to be a candlelighter, just as much as I want her to surround herself with friends who light her candle too. I feel so grateful that her circle is filled with little candle lighters.
