Collection: Katie Phillips

A self-taught fine artist based in Johns Creek, Georgia, I create colorful, mixed media paintings that celebrate beauty, joy, and the stories woven into everyday life. Since picking up a paintbrush at 16, I've spent decades developing a style that's both playful and refined. Guided by an intuitive approach to layering color, texture, and expressive mark-making, my work ranges from abstracts and florals to bird portraits and landscapes, each one balancing energy with intention. Today, my work can be found in private collections across the country.

Before becoming a full-time artist, I spent more than 20 years as a corporate marketing manager. Today, I bring that experience to the art world in more ways than one. Beyond creating  original artwork, I leverage my marketing expertise by supporting fellow artists. I work behind-the-scenes with The Splatter Effect podcast, where we share practical advice and honest conversations about building sustainable art businesses. I also lead marketing and operations for the KP Art Collective, connecting collectors with original artwork while championing the artists who create it.
