It's only fitting to release a collection of my favorite things to collect while we are coming up on my favorite time of year. The history of the Sailor's Valentine dates back to the 1800s. Sailors would bring back their loved ones shells from their long voyage at sea. Some Sailors would collect their shells and create intricate patterns on wood and other Sailors would purchase the artwork from the women of Barbados. How incredible? Shells alone are God's treasures and their own little works of art. If you take the time to truly inspect them and study their beauty, you can only see that God's hand is all over them. There's no other explanation. I hope this collection brings you a sense nostalgia over a trip to the beach or your favorite family vacation. It brings me great joy knowing my work covers your walls. Thank you!
